General Return Policy

Standard Return Window: Most products purchased on EffortMart.com are eligible for return within 7 days from the date of delivery.

Product-Specific Policies: Please note that the return period may vary for certain products, or some products may not be eligible for return at all due to their nature (e.g., perishable goods, hygiene products, digital items once accessed). Any such specific conditions or non-returnable status will be clearly mentioned on the respective product page. We encourage you to review the product details carefully before making a purchase.

Return Window Calculation
The return window starts from the date of delivery confirmation. Weekends and holidays are included in the 7-day count. Always check your order details for the exact delivery date.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the product must meet the following conditions:

  • The return request must be initiated within the applicable return window (generally 7 days from delivery, or as specified on the product page).
  • The product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • The product must be in its original packaging.
  • All original tags (if applicable) must be intact and not cut or removed.
  • All accessories, freebies, and components received with the product must be returned.
  • A copy of the original invoice or receipt must be provided.
Important Condition
Products that show signs of use, damage due to customer mishandling, or missing components will not be eligible for return or refund. Please ensure the product is in resalable condition.

Returns for Damaged or Defective Products

In case you receive a damaged or defective product, you must report the issue to EffortMart's support team within 24 hours of delivery. Failure to report within this timeframe may affect your eligibility for a return or refund.

EffortMart may request photographic or video evidence (e.g., unboxing video) to support your claim of damage or defect. This helps us process your claim faster and ensure genuine cases are addressed promptly.

Documentation Tip
For high-value items, we recommend recording the unboxing process. Clear photos/videos of the damaged product, packaging, and shipping label help us resolve your issue quickly and take appropriate action with our logistics partners.

Return & Refund Process

EffortMart handles all return and refund processes for products sold on its Platform, regardless of whether they are sold by EffortMart directly or by a third-party seller, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Initiating a Return Request

Return Pickup
EffortMart will arrange a reverse pickup for eligible return items from your delivery address. You will be informed of the pickup schedule. Please ensure the product is packed securely with all original packaging, tags, accessories, and the original invoice/receipt ready for pickup.

Inspection of Returned Product
Once the returned product is received by EffortMart (or the respective third-party seller), it will undergo a quality inspection. The refund process will only proceed if the product passes the inspection and meets the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 2.

Refund Approval & Processing
Upon successful inspection and approval of your return request, the refund process will be initiated. Refund requests are typically approved within 3 business days after the returned product is received and inspected. Once approved, the refund amount will be sent to your bank for further processing.

Refund Timeline
While EffortMart processes the refund quickly, it may take up to 15 business days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank's processing times.

Refund Methods:

  • Refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method used for the purchase (e.g., credit card, debit card, net banking).
  • In some cases, UPI refunds may also be offered as an alternative.
  • For cash on delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be processed via bank transfer to the account details provided by you.

Return Shipping Fees

  • For products sold directly by EffortMart: EffortMart (EFRTMRT INTERNET PRIVATE LIMITED) will bear the cost of return shipping for all eligible returns.
  • For products sold by Third-Party Sellers: The respective third-party seller will bear the cost of return shipping for their products.

In all eligible return scenarios (e.g., damaged, defective, wrong item, or valid change of mind where return is applicable), either EffortMart or the third-party seller will cover the return shipping fee.

Shipping Policy Exception
If a return is requested due to customer error (wrong address, refusal to accept delivery without valid reason), shipping charges may apply. However, for genuine issues like damaged/defective products or wrong items shipped, we always cover return shipping.

Refunds for Third-Party Seller Products

For products purchased from third-party sellers on the Platform, once a return and refund request is approved:

  • The refund amount will be debited directly from the respective third-party seller's wallet balance maintained with EffortMart.
  • EffortMart will then directly process and provide the refund to the customer.
Customer Protection
This system ensures that customers receive their refunds promptly, regardless of the seller's individual refund processing times. EffortMart acts as an intermediary to protect customer interests.

Non-Refundable Items/Situations

Refunds will generally not be granted for:

  • Products explicitly marked as "non-returnable" on the product page.
  • Products returned after the specified return window has expired.
  • Products that do not meet the eligibility criteria (e.g., used, damaged by customer, missing tags/packaging).
  • Issues arising from misuse or improper handling by the user.
  • Digital products that have been downloaded, accessed, or activated.
  • Personal care items, innerwear, or products where hygiene is a concern (unless defective).
  • Customized or personalized products made specifically for you.
  • Gift cards or vouchers (unless required by law).
Non-Returnable Categories
Always check product descriptions for return eligibility. Common non-returnable categories include: perishable goods, intimate apparel, cosmetics, jewelry, software, digital content, and personalized items.

Cancellation Policy

Generally, orders can be cancelled before they are shipped. Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled and you would need to follow the return process after receiving the product.

Cancellation Timeframe
For most products, you can cancel your order within 1-2 hours of placing it, or until it's processed for shipping. You'll receive a full refund for cancelled orders, which is typically processed within 7 business days.

Manufacturer Warranty

For products that come with a manufacturer's warranty, if an issue arises after EffortMart's return window has expired, you will need to contact the manufacturing company directly to avail of their warranty services. EffortMart will not be responsible for facilitating or managing manufacturer warranty claims.

Warranty Information
Warranty details are usually mentioned on the product page or included in the product packaging. Always retain your invoice as proof of purchase for warranty claims. Some manufacturers may require product registration for warranty activation.

No Administrative Fees

EffortMart does not impose any administrative fees or deductions on approved refunds. You will receive the full refund amount for eligible returns.

Full Refund Assurance
We believe in transparent transactions. The amount refunded will be exactly what you paid (excluding any shipping charges that were non-refundable as per the product page). There are no hidden charges or processing fees.
